Donald Trump’s new campaign manager Bill Stepien is already going off the rails

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Bill Stepien – up to now best known for his role in Chris Christie’s Bridgegate scandal – is now Donald Trump’s 2020 campaign manager. He takes over at a time when Trump is way behind in the polls, has no message, and is falling to pieces. So what’s his strategy?

Brad Parscale spent his time as campaign manager trying to con Donald Trump into believing that he was ahead in the polls, and that the Trump 2020 campaign was dominantly firing on all cylinders. In reality Trump has been behind all along, and his shell of a campaign barely exists.

Now that Bill Stepien has taken over, here’s his new message for the world: “We have a better team, better voter information, a better ground game, better fundraising, and most importantly, a better candidate with a better record.” To be clear, no one who’s been paying any amount of attention is going to believe this; the only person who routinely falls for this kind of laughable chest-beating rhetoric is Donald Trump.

Stepien is simply trying to con Trump into believing that now that he’s taken over, things really are in the great shape that Parscale claimed they were in. In other words, Stepien is another empty bullshitter. We give it fifty-fifty odds that he makes it to election day without being replaced.
