Bill Barr just reached a whole new low

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Donald Trump commuted the sentence of Roger Stone on Friday evening. Senator Mitt Romney tweeted, “Unprecedented, historic corruption: an American president commutes the sentence of a person convicted by a jury of lying to shield that very president.”

Also on Friday, Attorney General William “Low” Barr swapped out the United States Attorney for the Eastern District of New York, the third time in recent weeks that Barr has performed a “Friday Night Massacre.” Barr has proven himself time and again as the most corrupt, crassly personal attorney to the president that the Office of Attorney General has ever witnessed. Barr spoke on Thursday night about the disappointment in the Supreme Court’s decisions for Trump and his tax returns, stating that he hoped the Court would have accepted his argument of broad immunity of the president.

We must be prepared and ready for an October surprise, and Barr has hinted at it. The approach would be to drum up a report and try to get his stooges in the Department of Justice to trump up charges against former President Obama administration individuals. The grand juries are not likely to approve of such conduct, so it would be left up to Barr.

Some have questioned whether he would take such action, as it would sully his reputation and future. Barr is toward the end of his career, and has proven daily that he does not care about his reputation or anything else, but is comfortable serving as the streetsweeper behind the GOP elephant and its leader at present, Trump.
