The real reason Bill Barr has disappeared
Everyone seems surprised that Attorney General Bill Barr is nowhere to be found while Donald Trump is fighting for his life and about to lose the election. I’m not surprised at all. In fact I called it.
For months I’ve been documenting how Bill Barr has proven to be a remarkably ineffective henchman for Donald Trump. Barr tried and failed to meddle on Trump’s behalf in the Flynn, Stone, Cohen, Lev, Igor, and Bannon cases. Barr failed to get anywhere with the “unmasking scandal.” Barr failed to get anywhere with the Durham investigation.
In fact, apart from Bill Barr’s initial victory over Robert Mueller, Barr hasn’t had a single victory since – and recent evidence suggests that it was actually Rod Rosenstein and not Barr who felled Mueller.
So what was Barr going to be able to do for Trump while the votes were being counted? Nothing of any value for Trump. The mainstream media did us no favors when they built up Barr as some kind of invincible evil supervillain. Barr is a middling bumbler. Of course he’s hiding under his desk now that it’s all going wrong for his team.
