Donald Trump’s “Big T” meltdown reveals just how far gone he is

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Early yesterday, Twitter began blocking people from posting links to an obviously phony New York Post article which made false claims about Joe Biden in an attempt at helping Donald Trump. Then yesterday evening, in an apparently unrelated development, Twitter had some technical problems and was “over capacity” for a stretch.

The Babylon Bee, an infamous satire site, then posted an article claiming that Twitter took its entire platform offline just to prevent the NY Post article from spreading. Of course this is absurd, and the article was obviously satirical in nature. But don’t tell that to Donald Trump, who posted this tweet today:

“Twitter Shuts Down Entire Network To Slow Spread Of Negative Biden News https://babylonbee.com/news/twitter-shuts-down-entire-network-to-slow-spread-of-negative-biden-news… via @TheBabylonBee. Wow, this has never been done in history. This includes his really bad interview last night. Why is Twitter doing this. Bringing more attention to Sleepy Joe & Big T”

That’s right, Donald Trump is so far gone, he doesn’t understand the difference between reality and obvious satire. Trump’s reference to “Big T” also set off a firestorm. Most observers assumed he was referring to himself (“Big Trump”) and began making fun of him for it; at one point “Big Turd” was trending. Then he claimed that “Big T” actually referred to “Big Technology.” This guy is so off the rails, he doesn’t even know what he’s trying to say anymore.
