After Donald Trump was convicted on all thirty-four felony charges in his criminal trial, he decided he wanted to come off as strong and defiant. The problem: Trump is so far gone, physically and cognitively, it’s no longer possible for him to try to look tough.

It’s the latest reminder that Donald Trump isn’t just a convicted felon. He’s also so deep into dementia symptoms that he has no idea what he’s even trying to say or what’s going on. The Biden campaign is seizing upon not just Trump’s status as a felon, but also Trump’s status as a confused senile broken blob.
