Biden administration steps up against Ron DeSantis

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

This past week Florida Governor Ron DeSantis gave in to a smidgeon of reality when he quietly acknowledged that he can’t actually withhold the salaries of school board personnel who dare to require masks in schools.

But just in case DeSantis gets any funny ideas about trying anything illegal, the Biden administration is now stepping up by offering to pay any salaries that DeSantis might withhold:

Ron DeSantis has turned Florida into an absolute disaster, and he’s apparently intent on killing as many of his constituents as possible. This isn’t working out for him; he’s now trailing in his 2022 reelection bid in one major poll. It’ll take a nationwide effort to oust DeSantis in 2022, but it’s highly possible, and it’ll end his 2024 presidential ambitions.
