Bette Midler slam dunks Donald Trump
Last month Donald Trump unloaded on Bette Midler for some reason, calling her a “washed up psycho” in the process. To give you an idea of how badly this backfired on Trump and how little Midler’s feelings were hurt, she’s now changed her Twitter bio to “washed up psycho.” Now Midler is coming after Trump hard.
Donald Trump posted this embarrassing tweet about his idiotic North Korea stunt: “Leaving South Korea after a wonderful meeting with Chairman Kim Jong Un. Stood on the soil of North Korea, an important statement for all, and a great honor!” This prompted Bette Midler to fire back: “Did you have any of that amazing Korean food while you were there? No? Just the same old burgers and fries? Huh. I guess you watched a lot of re-runs of The Apprentice, too, right? Yeah, I heard you do that. A LOT.” But she wasn’t done.
Bette Midler ended up posting this bit of poetry about Donald Trump’s failed international relations in general: “I smell something rancid that’s starting to brew – Twixt Putin & Trumpie & Dear Leader too – They’re cooking up something – We’ll swallow or sip
This scary ass threesome’s – Gettin’ into some shit – Can it be they are planning some crazy ass coup – TO BONESAW DEMOCRACY THEN COME FOR YOU?”
Donald Trump hasn’t even bothered to fight back this time, which we’re taking as a sign that he knows he lost badly the last time he went after Bette Midler. Even if he does end up firing back at her, based on his near total lack of wit to begin with, we’re going to go ahead and preemptively award this round to Bette.
