Beto O’Rourke just bulldozed Ted Cruz
In 2018, Texas was still too red for a massively superior Democrat like Beto O’Rourke to defeat a pitiful Republican like Ted Cruz. But even though Cruz got a reprieve on his Senate career by narrowly winning that election, he seems to be doing everything he can to blow it.
Ted Cruz is now doing everything from inciting domestic terrorism against the United States Capitol, to making wildly inappropriate remarks in a feud with comedian Seth Rogen. Now Beto has entered the fray.
After Ted Cruz’s latest meltdown about Seth Rogen, Beto O’Rourke jumped in with this reply: “Don’t let [Cruz] off the hook. Don’t let him make this about “Hollywood” — this is about Ted Cruz aiding and abetting an insurrection that killed 5 people including a cop and very nearly ended in the murders of members of Congress and the Vice President.”
Ted Cruz isn’t up for reelection again until 2024, but by that time Texas should be more demographically purple than red. In the meantime, Cruz should be expelled from the Senate under the 14th Amendment, and he should be criminally charged for incitement of violence.
