Donald Trump goes berserk about Brett Kavanaugh

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. Donald Trump began his day on Tuesday with the whole world laughing out loud at him, as his phony boasts during his UN General Assembly speech prompted the gathered dignitaries to chuckle derisively. By the end of the day, Trump was back to focusing on something that’s anything but a laughing matter: accused serial sexual assaulter and accused serial rapist Brett Kavanaugh. Late tonight, Trump went directly off the deep end.

We saw a series of twists and turns in the Brett Kavanaugh scandal today, which saw Susan Collins and Lisa Murkowski punching new holes in the nomination, Mitch McConnell flinching and admitting that he doesn’t have the votes, and the GOP Senate making a bizarre choice to handle its upcoming questioning of Dr. Christine Blasey Ford. By the time the day was over, the nomination process was in complete chaos. Naturally, Trump decided to make it worse.

Here’s what Trump tweeted at around 11:00 tonight: “The Democrats are playing a high level CON GAME in their vicious effort to destroy a fine person. It is called the politics of destruction. Behind the scene the Dems are laughing. Pray for Brett Kavanaugh and his family!” Considering Trump’s penchant for projection, it’s not surprising to see that he’s injecting the word “laughing” into his meltdown, after he got laughed at during his United Nations speech. But the truly weird part was the reference about praying.

So let’s get this straight: Donald Trump now wants us to pray for an alleged serial sexual assaulter who is merely facing the prospect of keeping his current cushy job instead of getting promoted? This guy is somehow supposed to be the victim? Mainstream Americans are certainly praying right now when it comes to Brett Kavanaugh, but they’re not praying for him.
