Bernie Sanders throws his full weight behind Joe Biden and Kamala Harris

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Months ago, Bernie Sanders emphatically endorsed Joe Biden, and told his supporters in exact words that it would be irresponsible for them not to vote for Biden. Now that Biden has picked Kamala Harris as his running mate, what does Bernie have to say about it?

Bernie Sanders tweeted this in response to this evening’s news: “Congratulations to Kamala Harris, who will make history as our next Vice President. She understands what it takes to stand up for working people, fight for health care for all, and take down the most corrupt administration in history. Let’s get to work and win.”

Notably, Donald Trump and his allies are suddenly playing up the fact that GovTrack ranked Kamala Harris as the #1 most liberal Senator in 2019. Team Trump will try to use this to paint Kamala as a far left progressive. Of course this will only help steer progressive voters toward the Biden-Harris ticket. Trump and his allies don’t appear to have any idea how to properly attack Kamala Harris right now.
