Bernie Sanders just had a bizarre meltdown
Earlier this evening the Washington Post reported that a month ago, the U.S. intel community privately informed Bernie Sanders that the Kremlin was trying to rig the 2020 Democratic nomination on his behalf. Instead of working to get it declassified, so he could dutifully inform the public about it, he kept it a secret – and then he accused the media of conspiring against him today for having dared to break the story.
This has led to swift and widespread backlash against Bernie Sanders, to the point that #BernieKnew is currently a top Twitter trending topic. So how is Bernie Sanders handling the situation? By going full Trump:

Seriously, Bernie? This is roughly as egomaniacal as when Donald Trump said “I alone can fix it.” We’re rapidly reaching the point where Bernie Sanders is disqualifying himself from the Democratic primary race. Pastor John Pavlovitz said it best in response to Bernie’s asinine tweet: “This kind of post is exactly why we’ll have four more years of Trump and reminds us you’re not interested in uniting people. You’re running as a Democrat. Stop attacking Democrats.”
