After transition to Joe Biden formally begins, Donald Trump posts tweet sorta kinda basically conceding

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Just a few minutes ago, GSA Administrator Emily Murphy formally signed off on the transition to President-elect Joe Biden. That means it’s over for Donald Trump, whether he’s willing to accept it or not. Now Trump is reacting to the news in a fairly strange tweet:

“I want to thank Emily Murphy at GSA for her steadfast dedication and loyalty to our Country. She has been harassed, threatened, and abused – and I do not want to see this happen to her, her family, or employees of GSA. Our case STRONGLY continues, we will keep up the good fight, and I believe we will prevail! Nevertheless, in the best interest of our Country, I am recommending that Emily and her team do what needs to be done with regard to initial protocols, and have told my team to do the same.”

We take this as a sign that Donald Trump realizes he can’t stop the transition now that it’s underway, and so now he’s going along with supporting it, while still trying to spin a fantasy notion that he’s somehow magically going to win. This allows him to continue fundraising from his most gullible supporters, even while sorta kinda conceding to everyone else. No matter; the transition to Biden is underway.
