Bedlam breaks out in RNC Chair race
Bedlam has broken out in the GOP race for the republican national committee chair. It’s just not a good week for republicans, is it? So what exactly is going on? Well — among the accusations include:
– personal hostilities between candidates.
– accusations of candidates attempting to purchase votes.
– RNC member engaging in “doxing.”
The candidates for this highly undesirable job include Ronna McDaniel, Mike Lindell, and Harmeet Dhillion. Dhillon is a former lawyer for Donald Trump. An anonymous email account has accused Dhillion of “leaking.” Nobody knows who is behind this account, but whoever it does not appear to like Dhillion very much.
In the meantime, Dhillon is accusing McDaniel of buying votes. But McDaniel is accusing Dhillon of doxing the private emails of Republicans supporting McDaniel. Got all that? It is a mess. So while everybody’s eyes are on the battle for the House Speaker, people have not really noticed that the battle for the Republican national chair is ALSO a shitshow.
And floating ever so gently in the background of all of this is Mike Lindell. Ah yes, we must remember the pillow collector is also running. And he’s just gotten a very special endorsement.
Arizona seditionist Kari Lake has tweeted in support of him. I’m sure that will reassure many republicans that Lindell is indeed the right choice. So as the holidays approach, the GOP is starting to resemble a bull ring, with many a horned beast striking out as the whole party can’t seem to get out of each other’s way. Happy holidays.
