The other day it was reported that Barron Trump, who is now eighteen, would be serving as a delegate from Florida at this summer’s Republican National Convention. This meant that Donald Trump’s youngest son would be following in the same sleazy footsteps as the rest of his family.

But after a couple days of bad press, NBC News now says that Barron Trump is not going to be a delegate after all. This isn’t necessarily surprising. Everyone has been quite hands-off when it comes to this kid, because he’s a kid. But if he were to appear in support of his criminally monstrous father’s political agenda, Barron would have quickly been labeled a monster alongside his father.

Meanwhile it continues to stand out just how little presence Donald Trump’s family has had at his criminal trial. If they were to show up, it would provide Trump with good political optics, and even the jury could see that his family supported him. But as it stands, Trump continues to rot alone in court.
