Bad news for Steve Bannon

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

It just has not been Traitor Steve Bannon’s week! The woebegone outcast has been VERY excited lately. The reason for this excitement is the “Freedom convoy.” This convoy, hysterically hyped by Bannon, was to be a rally to interrupt President Biden’s State of the Union and show support for the Canadian Truckers.

Bannon was practically genuflecting over it. He spent much miserable time hyping it and chattering about what an event it would be! This wretched event was to take place at the National mall in Washington, D.C. So many people were to show up the furry-faced Bannon excitedly smirked.

Bannon helped fund this event, and it appeared that he genuinely believed it would be a day to remember. It was a day to remember, alright. Only not for the reasons Bannon had hoped for. So this event did indeed happen. It went off without a hitch.

But there was a problem. Nobody showed up. Nobody at all. Well — there were actually 12 forlorn people standing silently in the field of dreams. That WAS IT.

And of those 12, most appeared to be media people. I think a Twitter user said it best: “There were more people online at CVS this morning than were at this shit-show of a protest.”

It appears Stevie-boy doesn’t quite know how to throw a party. At the end of the day, this supposed “protest” was a miserable failure, making a fool out of Bannon yet again.
