Bad news for Sidney Powell

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Last we heard from Sidney Powell six weeks ago, she claimed she was “cooperating” with the Department of Justice grand jury probe into her finances in relation to Donald Trump’s attempt at overthrowing the 2020 election. Even as we wait for the notoriously secretive Garland DOJ to bring that probe to fruition, Powell is now getting bad news on a different front.

The Texas Bar just ruled that when Sidney Powell filed multiple lawsuits aimed at overturning the 2020 election, she had no reasonable basis for doing so. Now the whole thing will go in front of a judge, who will decide what punishment to hand out to Powell, which could include disbarment.

Of course Sidney Powell belongs in prison for sedition among other criminal charges, but we keep seeing that like it or not, these things take time (the DOJ finally busted the Proud Boys leader for his role in Donald Trump’s January 6th Capitol attack just this week). In the meantime, the rest of the justice system keeps chipping away at Trump world and its people.
