Asleep at the wheel

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Why am I speaking of chocolate teapots? It’s simple. It all has to do with activism and maga. To put it simply and to use one of my very favorite sayings, Maga are as useful as a chocolate teapot. If you’re on Twitter, you may have seen this tweet from Bill Palmer: “I promise you, right-wing political activists (your counterparts on the other side) are not putting in the work on the midterms. They’re sitting around tweeting Trump memes. We have the advantage by understanding that real world volunteering, not bravado wins close elections.”

It’s true. People. I’ve been observing Maga, carefully. I’m not saying some of them are not working hard. But not like we are. Many Maga that I see seem to be under the impression that they will win automatically. This is because they have voiced the thought often, particularly in the last few weeks, that liberalism is a mental disorder and nobody on team blue will show up.

Now a lot of Maga are tweeting Elon Musk memes and talking about owning the libs. But I do not see the thought, the work, the SOUL being put into this election on team red that is happening on team blue.

So this is the time to work even harder. The days before the election are dwindling. But just keep in mind that we have enthusiasm, hard work, and motivation on our side. Maga really is as useless as a chocolate teapot. And if we win, Herschel Walker, Blake Masters, Mehmet Oz, and many others will also be cast out in their teapot uselessness.
