Here’s who is getting arrested next in Donald Trump’s Russia scandal

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Donald Trump promised he’d only hire the best people, but in reality he’s only ever hired the most corrupt and/or manipulable people he could find. As a result we’ve seen his political advisers and associates arrested, indicted, put on trial, cut plea deals against him, you name it. The question of course is who’s going to face the handcuffs next. Here’s a look at what’s coming.

Michael Cohen: [Updated] A few hours after this article was originally published, Cohen negotiated a plea deal, walked into court, surrendered himself for arrest, pleaded guilty, told a judge that Donald Trump instructed him to commit crimes, established Trump as an unindicted co-conspirator, made bail, and went home. Ta-da!

Roger Stone: Because Stone and many of his associates have big mouths and like to tell the media everything, we know that Robert Mueller has been hauling just about everyone in Stone’s professional and personal life before the grand jury. Best anyone can tell, Mueller only has one holdout witness – Andrew Miller – left to go. Mueller doesn’t need Miller’s testimony, and he can move to indict and arrest Stone at any time. We don’t know how close we are to seeing that happen, but we do know that we’re close.

George Papadopoulos: His plea deal sentencing is on September 7th, and if the judge adheres to Mueller’s recommendation, he’ll begin his prison sentence thereafter. Papadopoulos, and particularly his wife, have been making a lot of noise lately about potentially reneging on the plea deal before sentencing. If that happens, things could get ugly fast.
