Here’s who Robert Mueller is going to arrest next

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Yesterday, Special Counsel Robert Mueller indicted Russian spy Konstantin Kilimnik and brought additional charges against Donald Trump’s campaign chairman Paul Manafort. This is a major development, as it represents the first time that one of Trump’s people has been jointly charged in a conspiracy with one of Putin’s people. Of course Mueller is just getting warmed up. Here’s who is most likely to get arrested next.

Roger Stone: The publicly available details from Robert Mueller’s grand jury proceedings have made clear that Stone is being targeted, and that he’s close to being indicted. Stone even acknowledged on live national television two weeks ago that he expects to be arrested soon, and that he’s “prepared” for it.

Julian Assange: The grand jury witnesses against Roger Stone have made clear that Mueller is targeting Stone primarily for his coordination with Assange during the election. This comes even as Ecuador has begun preparing to toss Assange from its embassy, strongly suggesting that Ecuador expects Mueller to seek extradition, and that it has no intention of getting in his way. Look for Stone and Assange to be indicted and arrested in close succession with each other.

Michael Cohen: The U.S. Attorney’s office for the Southern District of New York seized a mountain of evidence against Cohen when it raided his home and office, and his efforts at preventing prosecutors from using that evidence have largely failed. It’s not a matter of if Cohen will be indicted and arrested, but when.

Wildcards: It’s long been clear that Robert Mueller is building a comprehensive criminal case against Jared Kushner, so his time is coming, though it’s not entirely clear when. In addition, now that Mueller has set a precedent by indicting Konstantin Kilimnik solely for obstruction of justice, Donald Trump’s current and former White House advisers should be worried that they could get popped for obstruction at any time – even the ones who were not involved in the Trump Russia plot to begin with.
