Arizona Republican legislature melts down as Governor Katie Hobbs takes office
Congratulations, Katie Hobbs! It brings me so much joy to write that on Monday, Arizona Governor elect Katie Hobbs was officially sworn in as the Governor of Arizona! This woman is remarkable. The crap she’s been through by Kari Lake and Lake’s team was horrible. And there is also the fact that the media treated Hobbs in some ways worse than they treated Lake.
I say this because Hobbs passed on debating Lake. Good for her! By doing that, Hobbs got into Lake’s head and lived there rent-free. But the media treated it as some type of sin. Over and over pundits called Hobbs out for refusing to debate, undoubtedly because they were disappointed they wouldn’t get extra clicks and higher ratings by normalizing Lake’s debate performance.
Hobbs handled things with dignity and grace. I am so delighted for her and have no doubt she will make Arizona even greater and mightier than she already is. And Lake and company are not taking this well. Arizona State Rep. and insane person, Rachel Jones, took to Twitter to express her rage that Arizona dared certify the rightful winner of the Arizona election.
“I will not move on” She shrieked on Twitter, calling Arizona “stolen” by “radical leftists.” Those evil, evil leftists! In the meantime, Lake is still losing her mind about the race and her failure to win and has filed an appeal to the supreme court, which nobody really cares about, so I will speak if it is no more. So congratulations Katie Hobbs for winning your race and for saving Arizona! ! You more than earned this!
