Arizona launches criminal investigation into Donald Trump

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

New York’s criminal investigation into Donald Trump’s finances is far enough along that it’s begun issuing criminal indictments. The Fulton County District Attorney in Georgia also announced awhile back that she had opened a criminal investigation into Trump’s 2020 election tampering. And when news broke last week that Trump and Rudy Giuliani had meddled in Arizona’s 2020 election count as well, we wondered if there would end up being a criminal investigation in that state as well. Sure enough, here it is.

Arizona Secretary’s of State Katie Hobbs has asked Attorney General Mark Brnovich to open a criminal investigation into the actions of Donald Trump, Rudy Giuliani, and other Trump allies, in relation to the 2020 election, according to AZ Central. This is a big deal because, as is also the case in Georgia, the criminal probe is aimed directly at Donald Trump himself – and not just his underlings. Moreover, while the Georgia probe is coming from a single District Attorney, this Arizona probe is coming from the state’s Attorney General.

So now Donald Trump is under confirmed active criminal investigation in New York, Georgia, and Arizona. The wheels of justice may move slowly, but they’re moving. Of course the Department of Justice also needs to bring a federal criminal case against Donald Trump as well, but we don’t imagine that will be a possibility until at least after Rudy Giuliani is federally indicted.
