Are they tired of losing yet?

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

I don’t usually respond directly to the shenanigans that the GOP pulls. But ever so often, my friends, I feel the burning need to speak out. This is one of those times. In the wake of the Oho win –a very BIG win — the message has been sent loud and clear to Republicans.

They don’t get it. They will never ever get it. Cases in point: Republicans are currently having a meltdown because of the idea that employers should provide reasonable accommodations to pregnant women. In Texas, Republicans are protesting the overturning of the part of the Texas abortion law that allows for abortions among women with problematic pregnancies.

Several of the republican presidential contenders want a nationwide abortion ban. Republicans continue to attack Democrats, falsely saying we want abortion on demand, which is a joke and which no democrat is for. So yes, it’s time to have a little word with you Republicans.

Are you tired, republican, of losing yet? Day after day, week after week, hour after hour, you lose. This losing streak is due to many factors, but there is one factor that caused your Ohio loss — and your Wisconsin loss — and your Kansas loss.

That thing is wildflowers. That’s right. Wildflowers — wildflowers from the mountains, from the countryside, from suburbs, from the urban cores — women — women who need no help from you because women are independent beings. We grow and flourish in our own environments — WITHOUT help from you.

What you have not learned and might never understand is that we are stronger than you — we are more durable, and we have the power to destroy your perverted dreams for us — because we already are doing just that.

You see, Republicans, you CANNOT win against us. Women are elegant and fragrant beings, each with their own story of survival, of strength, and of humanity. Your scent is rotten, republicans. Why do you fear us so? Why do our private lives so endlessly fascinate you?

It is time, republicans, to stop. Stop attacking us; stop trying to subjugate us to your will. We will NEVER be broken by you. THAT is what you do not get. What you can’t get is that we, the women of America, are unbroken and unbreakable.

We have been fighting for equality since the beginning of time. And we have achieved so much. We are telling you clearly that we do not want what you are selling. I do know it’s difficult for you. It’s hard for you to see women as unbroken beings, winged and soaring, indifferent to your demands, scornful of your desires to conquer us.

So just back off now. It would be to your benefit too. Because every minute you persist in your extreme nonsense, another wildflower blooms — another person signs up to vote — against YOU — the enemy of women, the losers of all future elections, great and small.
