Donald Trump goes completely apoplectic as another whistleblower emerges

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

On Friday evening the news broke that a second whistleblower, who could corroborate and expand upon the claims made by the first whistleblower – had already privately testified to the Inspector General and was preparing to come forward to the House impeachment inquiry.

In the latest sign that Donald Trump’s people are working harder than ever to keep him as insulated from bad news as possible, he didn’t get around to addressing it until Saturday night. Well, at least we think he addressed it. Trump posted this tweet, which consisted largely of word salad:

The first so-called second hand information “Whistleblower” got my phone conversation almost completely wrong, so now word is they are going to the bench and another “Whistleblower” is coming in from the Deep State, also with second hand info. Meet with Shifty. Keep them coming!

Wait, what? Is this supposed to be written in code? Most of these words don’t even go together. To be clear, the second whistleblower is reported to have first hand knowledge, not second hand knowledge. It’s unclear why Trump is encouraging the whistleblower to meet with Adam Schiff. In any case, Trump’s “keep them coming” bravado is so thinly veiled, it’s unintentionally hilarious. Trump is scared to death of these whistleblowers and everyone knows it.
