From the “another one bites the dust” file, I give you rightwing activist Laura Loomer. She’s the one who said that she wanted to contract Covid so she could prove a point, i.e., that Covid is no worse than food poisoning.

I think that may have been an unfortunate analogy. I’ve never had food poisoning, but I hear it’s pretty bad. But then, apt analogies aren’t exactly the dominion of fools, and Laura Loomer is a fool.

“Just pray for me please,” Loomer wrote on Gettr, the social media platform launched by former Trump spokesperson Jason Miller. “Can’t even begin to explain how brutal the body aches and nausea that come with covid are. I am in so much pain. This is honestly the worst part about it.”

This is a woman who is so alt-right that she couldn’t even win a Florida congressional seat. She was too radical for Florida. That should give you an idea of how stupid she is.

Now Loomer is suffering brutal symptoms from Covid and she’s gasping for breath from her hospital bed. Loomer once called the virus “the biggest hoax” since the 2020 election. The 2020 election wasn’t a hoax either, Laura. I wonder if you made that connection too?

Jeff Tiedrich had this so say about her when he tweeted, “congratulations to Laura Loomer, the most recent graduate of F*** Around And Find Out University.” Laura found out, all right.

Once again, Covid doesn’t care who you are, who you think your god is or what party you belong to. All it knows is every time it sees an unvaccinated idiot it’s dinner time. So don’t be a Laura Loomer. Get vaccinated, wear a mask, social distance and wash your hands. And, as ever, ladies and gentlemen, brothers and sisters, comrades and friends, stay safe.
