Donald Trump just took another blow
Donald Trump is in the process of losing everything. He lost the presidency. He’s sixteen hours away from losing his protection from indictment and arrest. He’s facing an imminent impeachment trial. He’s facing eventual criminal trials. Banks are cutting him off. He’ll go bankrupt. Now he’s taking a different kind of blow.
Trump has been a member of SAG-AFTRA for decades. But now they’re initiating the formal process of kicking him out, according to E! News. It turns out they don’t like inciters of insurrection any more than the rest of us do.
It’s not clear that this would affect Donald Trump’s ability to bring back the Apprentice, as reality show stars aren’t union members, but we don’t see NBC allowing Trump back on the air anyway. Really, this is just a well timed blow to Trump’s ego. It’s also a harbinger of things to come. Now that Trump is leaving office, everyone in mainstream America will be looking for ways to distance themselves from Trump or punish him.
