American Airlines says it’s looking into Ted Cruz incident

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Yesterday Ted Cruz flew on a commercial American Airlines flight, and he refused to wear a mask for the entirety of the flight, despite the airline’s rule requiring masks. Cruz’s dangerous behavior became a trending topic on Twitter today, and now the airline says it’s looking into the incident.

After various people tagged @AmericanAir in their complaints about Ted Cruz, American Airlines responded accordingly. For instance, one person asked, “Will you be enforcing your mask policy or not? Will people like Ted Cruz be banned from flying on your planes now? Asking for 300 million concerned Americans.” AA responded: “We are committed to protecting the health and safety of all customers, and we are reviewing the details of this matter.”

This is something of a boilerplate response – but at least the airline is acknowledging that this incident must and will be investigated. We suggest continuing to (politely) apply pressure to American Airlines across social media. Ted Cruz’s behavior was homicidal. The airline needs to ban him from future flights.
