America isn’t finished yet, I swear it
Just how low has America sunk over the past two and a half years? After the President of the United States gave an unconvincing speech yesterday about a white supremacist mass shooting that he helped cause, the internet began debating whether his near-constant sniffing was more likely the result of having snorted cocaine or adderall.
We’re in hell, and let’s pretend we’re not. There is no President of the United States, unless you count that maniac hooligan who’s illegitimately occupying the Oval Office, who can’t make up his mind whether to tweet racist things or economy-killing things. We’ve got white supremacist domestic terrorists on the loose, and no way to stop them, because the hooligan is standing in the way of any solutions.
China is steamrolling us on trade because the hooligan won’t stop pissing them off, and our stock market is in freefall these past few days because of it. All the idiot would have to do is shut up and the stock market would recover, but he can’t do that, because that’s just not who he is.
The list goes on. Donald Trump isn’t the reason for all of America’s problems, but even the ones he didn’t create, he’s made worse. There is, however, a light at the end of the tunnel. As a result of so many people having had enough of this crap, political activism is at an all time high. The blue wave that began in 2018 is in position to continue in 2020, if Americans keep putting in the work. We’re in a hole, but we can still yet find our way out of it.
