“Am I supposed to be happy?” – Donald Trump has self pitying meltdown after January 6th public hearing buries him

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Thursday night’s televised primetime January 6th public hearing managed to string together damning testimony against Donald Trump from a large number of his own handpicked people.

Suffice it to say that Trump himself didn’t take the news particularly well. On his own failed social network, Trump announced that America is “going to Hell.” Then he posed the bizarre question, “Am I supposed to be happy?”

It’s not entirely clear what Donald Trump meant by that last remark, but it is clear that he’s particularly unwell. He’s the former “President” of the United States, and now he’s fallen so far, he’s up late at night publicly lamenting about how unhappy he is.

Trump has good reason to be disturbed, and far from happy, about how this latest public hearing played out. It was nothing short of brutal for him, and it helped to further establish his guilt in the court of public opinion and in the eyes of the law.
