“ALL HELL BREAKS LOOSE IN 24 HOURS!” – Donald Trump goes utterly berserk
It’s bad enough for Donald Trump that he’s currently on criminal trial for thirty-four felonies. He also has a court hearing tomorrow to determine the punishment for his gag order violations. If anything it looks like Trump (or whoever is ghost writing for him at this point) is trying to make things even worse for himself.
Trump sent out a text message to his base today declaring that “ALL HELL BREAKS LOOSE IN 24 HOURS” and that “TOMORROW I CAN BE THROWN IN JAIL!” Well okay then. Given that a majority of Americans would like to see Trump locked up, it’s not clear what the issue is supposed to be here.
It’s still not clear what will happen to Donald Trump tomorrow. Prosecutor Alvin Bragg asked the judge to fine Trump for his existing gag order violations and inform Trump that he’ll get thirty days in prison for his next gag order violation. But since Bragg made that filing, Trump has committed additional gag order violations. So what will Judge Merchan do tomorrow? We’ll see.
In the meantime, even as Trump tries harder than ever to incite his base into doing something stupid on his behalf, his base is more tired than ever. There were maybe three people outside the courthouse today protesting in support of Trump. His base is seemingly falling asleep as badly as he is.
