California recall race is down to the wire
With just one week left in the California recall race, Democratic Governor Gavin Newsom is now ahead in the polls. But with the stakes so high and the recall election format so wacky, no lead is safe. It’s all hands on deck:
The weekend. Minimum wage. Paid sick leave. Breaks during work. Safety standards. Paid overtime. All because of the labor movement.
This #LaborDay let’s take a moment of gratitude — and recognize that the fight isn’t over.
