Donald Trump has berserk all caps meltdown as his entire world caves in on him
Donald Trump disappeared from Twitter for nearly twelve hours yesterday, before reemerging late last night to thank General H.R. McMaster under mistaken circumstances. Trump is becoming more erratic and coherent by the day as his treason scandal widens and his impeachment gets even uglier for him. So it’s perhaps no surprise that Trump went whole hog this morning while circling the drain.
Trump doesn’t usually tweet on Saturday mornings (he’s too busy cheating at golf). But the way things are going, there’s probably at least a slight possibility that this is the final Saturday of his presidency, and so he decided to grace us with his thoughts. Unfortunately for us, his thoughts were “PRESIDENTIAL HARASSMENT!” and then “MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!” followed by “KEEP AMERICA GREAT!” Because hey, that’ll really show us. But it was the one non-all-caps tweet that was truly weird.
Here’s what Trump tweeted: “Can you imagine if these Do Nothing Democrat Savages, people like Nadler, Schiff, AOC Plus 3, and many more, had a Republican Party who would have done to Obama what the Do Nothings are doing to me. Oh well, maybe next time!” Numerous observers on social media have pointed out that Trump singled out two Jews and four women of color for being lazy “savages,” playing right into the worst of stereotypes. Trump didn’t even bother to attack Nancy Pelosi, who’s in charge of impeachment.
In any case, it’s increasingly clear that Donald Trump has no idea what to do now. His decision to release the incriminating phone call summary and whistleblower report have set off a chain of events, leading to last night’s revelation that he told the Russians in the Oval Office that he didn’t mind their interference in U.S. elections. By the end of the day, more will have leaked out, and Trump’s presidency will be another step closer to over. The idiot should be working on a resignation plea deal right now, not playing golf.
