Donald Trump has angry shouting meltdown on Air Force One

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Donald Trump’s trip to El Paso and Dayton yesterday went extraordinarily poorly for him. We know this not simply because the media coverage for him was mostly negative, or that he spent much of the day publicly attacking the local leaders he was supposed to be making nice with. We know this because Trump himself had an angry meltdown while he was aboard Air Force One.

Buried deep in a New York Times article covering Trump’s trip, we find this jewel: “Mr. Trump reacted with fury. As his plane soared toward a restive El Paso, he shouted at aides that no one was defending him, according to a person briefed on what took place.”

We’re not sure why the New York Times buried this detail, as it best encapsulates how the day truly went for Donald Trump. Not only did he end up having an angry shouting meltdown while aboard Air Force One, the whole thing was absurd enough that one of Trump’s handlers felt compelled to leak it to a newspaper.

Meanwhile, Donald Trump has spent today publicly attacking the likes of France, Iran, and his own handpicked Federal Reserve Chairman. Trump and/or his handlers have apparently decided that the best way to move on from yesterday’s debacle is to have Trump pick new fights with other public figures. This all just keeps getting stupider in general.
