Aiding and abetting the enemy

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Kevin McCarthy is under fire from just about everybody after stupidly handing over 41,000 hours of video from the January 6 insurrection to Tucker Carlson. McCarthy, who has shown us he has no idea what the hell he’s doing, obviously did this to frame the narrative. After all, now he can be assured of even more sycophantic coverage on fox non-news.

But these videos should have remained private. That is what the Capitol Police wanted. That is what anyone with a grain of sense wanted. That is not what Kevin wanted. And some national security experts are warning that this move could have serious repercussions.

Thousands and thousands of hours of footage — perhaps showing things that insurrectionists should never see — are now in the hands of Tucker Carlson. It is a security breach. And it should be enough for Kevin McCarthy to resign.

The man’s an idiot. Even I was surprised by this move, and I’m a big cynic when it comes to politics. McCarthy, in his way, aided and abetted insurrectionists. As long as these videos remain in the hands of Carlson and fox, they represent a clear and present danger. And so does McCarthy.

Carlson will be probing these videos and won’t be thinking of the safety of anyone. He wouldn’t bat an eye over releasing footage that puts the safety of lawmakers and police in jeopardy.

This is just another reason why we need to take back the house. It is not stable in the hands of these children. They have no idea how to build peace and security. All they build is destruction and hate.
