Trump and his goons are afraid of Fiona Hill for good reason

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Donald Trump has held back from publicly attacking the past few witnesses who have publicly testified against him in these televised House impeachment hearings, so we can’t read too much into the fact that he’s had nothing to say about Fiona Hill today. But his surrogates have spoken volumes on his behalf.

By the time Fiona Hill got done delivering her opening statement this morning, carefully laying out the full extent of her detailed and nuanced understanding of everything, House Republicans on the committee seemed completely lost. She laid out why their pro-Trump phony conspiracy theories involving Russia were so harmful. More importantly, she made clear that she has a higher IQ than all of the Republicans on this committee put together.

When it was Jim Jordan’s time to start yelling like an idiot, he went ahead and did so – but he only seemed interested in yelling his questions at the other witness, David Holmes. It was as if he was afraid to even acknowledge Fiona Hill’s presence, for fear she’d promptly bury him.

Donald Trump and his goons are afraid of Fiona Hill for good reason. She’s the kind of professional who knows her stuff, sees precisely how full of crap they are, and isn’t afraid to bluntly say so. Fiona Hill is the kind of detail oriented badass who makes sure the tires have the precisely correct air pressure before she drives the bus over you.
