Adam Schiff reveals the House has more up its sleeve against Donald Trump

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Yesterday the House upended the impeachment process when it released newly submitted evidence from Ukraine scandal figure Lev Parnas, which revealed that Team Trump was surveilling U.S. Ambassador Marie Yovanovitch and discussing hiring local goons to target her. It turns out this new evidence is only just the beginning.

House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff was just named the lead House impeachment manager for the Senate trial. He then made this announcement, according to CNN: “We are still going through, because the volume is so large, the materials we received … so it’s entirely possible there will be new and important evidence that comes out of the information that we’ve been receiving.”

This isn’t surprising. Lev Parnas turned over thousands of pages of documents to the House on Monday, so what we saw the House release yesterday was likely just the low hanging fruit that they were able to find the most quickly while searching the documents. Some of this evidence will take longer to parse, translate, and place within the context of existing facts.

But there’s obviously more coming. Adam Schiff just pretty much staked the House Democrats to the notion that they have additional relevant evidence coming from the Lev Parnas document dump. Lev is set to appear on the Rachel Maddow show tonight. No one knows what he’s going to say, so we’ll see if he ends up revealing some of the additional evidence that the House hasn’t published yet. This is all evolving very quickly.
