Adam Schiff just delivered some really bad news for Donald Trump

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. If you’re wondering why House Democrats didn’t impeach Donald Trump for his various scandals before the whistleblower scandal came along, it’s because there was no smoking gun in his other scandals, and there were no cooperating witnesses. This one is different, though. The whistleblower report itself is a smoking gun – and let’s just say that Adam Schiff has lined up the perfect cooperating witness.

House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff has reached an agreement to have the actual whistleblower himself testify before the committee, according to breaking news from MSNBC today. Details haven’t yet been provided. For now we’ll presume that the whistleblower is planning to keep his identity a secret during this testimony, which could get tricky considering the Republicans on the committee who can’t be trusted to keep a secret.

Nonetheless, this is a big deal. It means the House impeachment inquiry now has a cooperating witness who can come in and provide additional context for Donald Trump’s crimes, while pointing in the right direction when it comes to additional evidence. We expect the whistleblower’s testimony to lead to a situation where someone in the Trump White House cracks under the pressure and cuts an immunity deal with regard to the secret server full of other incriminating evidence.

This comes amid reports yesterday that Kurt Volker, who just resigned from the State Department and appears to have detailed knowledge of what Rudy Giuliani and Donald Trump were really up to in Ukraine, is eager to give cooperative testimony to the House this week.
