Senile Donald Trump incoherently switches sides during anti-abortion speech
Donald Trump couldn’t care less about the issue of abortion. He took at least five different positions on the issue during the course of the election, as he tried to figure out how to say whatever he thought Republican voters wanted to hear. Now that he’s in office, he has a new problem: his mental faculties are in collapse. He spoke at an anti-abortion rally today, or should we say he tried to speak, because what came out wasn’t exactly coherent – but we’re pretty sure he accidentally switched sides on the issue again.
Here’s what Trump said during his televised speech at the anti-abortion rally: “Right now in a number of states, the laws allow a baby to be born from his or her mother’s womb in the 9th month. It is wrong. It has to change.” That’s not a mistake on our part; that’s what he actually said. Best we can tell he was trying to promote his longtime false claim that women in America are routinely having abortions during the ninth month. But he ended up essentially taking a pro-abortion stance. In fact, if his words are to be taken as he spoke them, he appears to believe every woman should abort every pregnancy.
If this were an isolated incident, we’d write it off as merely a moment of getting tongue tied. But Trump now misspeaks so often and so incoherently at such crucial moments, this is a clear pattern. Moreover, this isn’t just about him having lost his ability to put together a complete sentence. This is within the larger context of Trump routinely getting confused and wandering out of his own joint press conferences and signing ceremonies while they’re still going on, wandering away from his own motorcade, slurring his words, appearing to have trouble keeping his right eye open, and other increasingly alarming signs.
Donald Trump had his military doctor perform a cognitive test last week to try to put the questions about his mental competence to rest. But the test he took consisted mostly of questions along the line of whether or not he could recognize a rhinoceros. This was a test to see if Trump was a complete vegetable, which he is not. However it’s clear that he’s way too far gone to serve in the role of President of the United States. At this point it’s doubtful he could function at nearly any job.
