A tale of three speeches

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

This is the tale of three men — and three speeches. Let us start with Putin If you ever want to see absolute darkness, all you have to do is look at Putin’s eyes. Eyes are often called the windows to the soul. But I do not believe Putin has one of those — a soul. The opaqueness of his eyes reflects that.

Indeed, everything about Putin is chilling. And as his war — only HIS — nobody else’s — rages on — a few things have become clear. One is that Putin is desperate to be seen as in control. In a blistering speech to government ministers, Putin continued to blame the Ukrainians for what was transpiring. There was no softening, no hint of softening—only cold-blooded evil. He is without mercy.

But it’s important to understand that Putin is NOT seen as being in control. On the contrary, it would seem that while he frightens some, he is also becoming a symbol for mockery — not something I am sure that the maniac Russian wanted.

And in his speech today, President Biden was at his most glorious. He labeled Putin a “war criminal,” which he is. This is Putin’s one and ONLY contribution to his society — war, evil, and murder. He is a dangerous war criminal; who is out of control.

Biden’s speech was beautifully interwoven with love, kindness, and hope as he put forth our support for Ukraine and President Zelenskyy. President Biden announced more money in aid as well — $800 million. Doesn’t it warm your heart to see our great nation led by such competence?

And then there was the speech earlier by President Zelenskyy to Congress. The Standing ovation was long. The eyes upon him were rapt. He spoke like a poet — like a courageous man who loves his country, which he is. This then is the tale of three men with three different speeches. One of those men is our own, President Biden, a glorious and kind man.

One of these men belongs to Ukraine which is why he will never leave his people and will always be there to say “Glory to Ukraine.” And finally, one is a war criminal – a brutal and soulless man, who is evil Incarnate.
