Donald Trump told “little boy” Jared Kushner to go home

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

There’s a controversial new book this week about Donald Trump’s dysfunctional White House, because there’s always a controversial new book about Donald Trump’s dysfunctional White House. This time around it’s a book titled “The Trump White House: Changing the Rules of the Game” from author Ronald Kessler. Trump and his son-in-law Jared Kushner have long been reportedly on the outs with each other since Trump took office, and Kessler has an anecdote which spells that out rather colorfully.

Several months ago, Vanity Fair reported that Donald Trump had begun telling Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner to resign from the White House and go home to New York City. Kessler’s book corroborates that claim, and takes things even further by asserting that Trump told his aides that Kushner looked like a “little boy” when he appeared on national television. Trump is the most notorious bully of his generation, so it’s not shocking to learn that he would humiliate his own son-in-law in front of others.

However, this does serve to further underline how badly things are falling apart within the Trump family as the pressure of a failed presidency and the specter of mounting criminal scandals have taken their toll. Special Counsel Robert Mueller is investigating personal loans that Kushner secured from investors he’d just met with in the White House, as well as financing that Kushner has received from foreign nations, allegedly in return for political favors. Donald Trump is being investigated for too many various crimes to list.

Throughout all of this, Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump have yet to resign from the White House, and Donald Trump has yet to fire them. But with the very real possibility that Mueller could end up indicting and arresting Kushner in an attempt at getting him to cut a plea deal against Donald, things could end up going even further south for the Trump family before much longer.
