Robert Mueller is about to decimate the Republican Party. Then what?

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Republicans, let’s be candid: your party has been a mess for quite a few years now, what with the far right, Evangelicals, and the Tea Party splitting the ranks. Then Trump, a NY Democrat pretending to be a Conservative, comes along scandalized to the core with this Trump-Russia thing and his countless, highly offensive blunders since he declared he was running for the Presidency.

Why do I point this out? Well, because I’d actually like to offer a suggestion on how you can fix your party. A two-party system is mostly beneficial, after all.

Consider: once Robert Mueller is done with these traitors, the GOP will be even more in tatters than it already is. Somewhat ironically, as a lifelong Republican, Mueller’s actually your answer. He’ll be done with Trump and his goons in the next 18 months or so, just in time to run for President.

Now, do I think Mueller would ever run? Nope. But it doesn’t matter what I think. He’s your answer and, being the hero he no doubt will be in saving our Republic, he’d probably get 60% of the popular vote no matter who the Democrats run. Hell, I’m a staunch Dem and I’d vote for him! Start begging Mueller now. He’s your only hope until at least 2028 after this Trump fiasco ends.
