Donald Trump’s vicious and vulgar sexist attack on Sally Yates

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Donald Trump initially claimed that he fired Acting Attorney General Sally Yates due to her reluctance to implement his Muslim travel ban. Later it was revealed that Trump actually fired Yates because she knew Michael Flynn was dirty on Russia. Now it’s being revealed how Trump really felt about Yates. Not surprisingly, his private remarks about her along the way have been viciously and vulgarly sexist. Now those remarks are surfacing.

Steve Bannon has given quotes for a new book in which he admits the Trump-Russia scandal was “treasonous” and asserts that Donald Trump knew about the entire plot. Bannon is also revealing that “Trump conceived an early, obsessive antipathy for Deputy Attorney General Sally Yates.” He says that at one point Trump referred to Yates as “such a c*nt.” This is consistent with Trump’s habitually abusive treatment of women. He hurled one sexist remark at Hillary Clinton after another during the campaign. He’s accused of sexually assaulting roughly twenty women during the course of his life.

Meanwhile, Sally Yates has been routinely criticizing Donald Trump’s deranged and illegal behavior in office, but she’s been doing it in a professional and classy manner. For instance Trump tweeted this garbage yesterday: “Crooked Hillary Clinton’s top aid, Huma Abedin, has been accused of disregarding basic security protocols. She put Classified Passwords into the hands of foreign agents. Remember sailors pictures on submarine? Jail! Deep State Justice Dept must finally act? Also on Comey & others.” Yates responded by condemning Trump as “Beyond abnormal; dangerous.”

Donald Trump released a statement today slamming and belittling Steve Bannon, and falsely claiming that Bannon only played a minor role in the campaign and in the administration. Thus far Trump has not publicly reacted to the revelations about his words about Sally Yates; that’ll probably come later after Trump’s diaper is changed.
