Donald Trump dissolves into whiny divisive stupid Christmas Eve meltdown

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

The vast majority of Americans disapprove of the job that Donald Trump is doing in office. In fact the majority of Americans think he’s guilty of crimes and should be impeached. Trump was illegitimately elected to begin with, and perhaps fittingly, he’s shown that he can’t even so much as impersonate a president. Here on Christmas Eve, the best thing he could do for America is to shut up and leave everyone alone. Instead he’s launching a whiny and divisive meltdown.

Here’s what Trump the Traitor tweeted this morning: “The Fake News refuses to talk about how Big and how Strong our BASE is. They show Fake Polls just like they report Fake News. Despite only negative reporting, we are doing well – nobody is going to beat us. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!” So let’s see here. He’s celebrating Christmas Eve by attacking the media, attacking pollsters, and siding only with his base at the expense of mainstream Americans.

When Trump says “nobody is going to beat us” he appears to be referring only to his base. And of course his campaign slogan “MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN” has become thinly veiled code for his white supremacist movement. In other words, even during the holidays, Trump isn’t even pretending to stand with anyone but his own small posse of devotees. Trump is also lying about the size of his base.

All along, most political pundits and pollsters on both sides of the aisle have pegged Donald Trump’s base as being no larger than 15% to 20% of the country. The rest of his approval rating is made up of passive supporters. His approval rating has dropped from the low forties in January to the low thirties now, meaning he’s been losing passive supporters by the tens of millions. His base alone is too small to prop him up – yet his base is all he cares about. It’s Christmastime, and this scumbag is still trying to divide Americans.
