Donald Trump is in need of immediate professional psychological help

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

I’m not a medical professional – but you don’t need to be one in order to see that Donald Trump, for whatever psychological reason, has just plain lost it. Many will argue that he never had it to begin with, and that’s correct. He’s been psychologically compromised on some level for as long as he’s been in the public eye. But in the days since he learned that Michael Flynn has decided to flip on him, Trump’s words and behavior have become all the more disturbing.

Trump is now telling his advisers that he no longer believes it’s really him on the infamous Access Hollywood tape. No really, this is happening. The New York Times just reported it (link). More than a year ago, Trump publicly acknowledged that it was him saying “grab em by the…” on the tape. Now he no longer believes it’s him. Mentally competent minds don’t work that way. But it gets worse.

We’ve reached the point where Trump’s own people feel compelled to ghost-tweet for him again. For instance, he didn’t write this tweet: “The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, or CFPB, has been a total disaster as run by the previous Administrations pick. Financial Institutions have been devastated and unable to properly serve the public. We will bring it back to life!” We know this because, as I’ve documented in greater detail in the past, while Trump has severe spelling and grammar issues, he somehow has no trouble getting his apostrophes right.

One of Trump’s occasional ghost-tweeters consistently makes the mistake of trying to impersonate Trump’s grammar problems by purposely omitting possessive apostrophes. In the past few days, this particular ghost-tweeter has been working overtime, with multiple apostrophe-fail tweets. So even Trump’s own staff now believes he’s so far gone, they have to imitate him on Twitter. Is he even with us anymore, or is he curled up in a ball at Mar-a-Lago? I’m not being glib. This is scary. Donald Trump appears to be in need of immediate professional psychological help. This is why the 25th Amendment exists.
