Berserk Donald Trump is simultaneously Twitter-feuding with GOP Senator and basketball player’s father

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Palmer Report predicted on Friday night that this would end up being Donald Trump’s most whacked out weekend yet. It’s taken him until Sunday to get there, but sure enough, he’s gotten there. As we speak, Trump is simultaneously feuding on Twitter with a Senator from his own party and the father of a basketball player, while publicly insisting that he should have left three United States citizens to rot in a Chinese prison.

Trump began by attacking the father of one of the Team USA basketball players who was caught shoplifting in China: “Now that the three basketball players are out of China and saved from years in jail, LaVar Ball, the father of LiAngelo, is unaccepting of what I did for his son and that shoplifting is no big deal. I should have left them in jail!” Then Trump changed his mind and decided it was more important to begin feuding with Republican Senator Jeff Flake – but he lost his train of thought and he ended up posting his Flake tweet in response to his LaVar Ball tweet.

The result was that Trump ended up posting this as a reply: “Sen. Jeff Flake(y), who is unelectable in the Great State of Arizona (quit race, anemic polls) was caught (purposely) on “mike” saying bad things about your favorite President. He’ll be a NO on tax cuts because his political career anyway is “toast.”” For the record, that’s not how you spell “mic.” Then he immediately changed his mind and went back to feuding with LaVar Ball, tweeting “Shoplifting is a very big deal in China, as it should be (5-10 years in jail), but not to father LaVar. Should have gotten his son out during my next trip to China instead. China told them why they were released. Very ungrateful!”

In other words, after having spent much of the weekend remaining quiet while presumably trying to find his way out of whatever dark room his staff had locked him in, Donald Trump managed to throw off his shackles today and promptly made up for lost time on Twitter. The night is still young; there’s no way of knowing which random public figure he may begin attacking next.
