ALL TIME LOW
More bad news for the Donald. Do you know what galls me? It’s the fact that we were on our way UP before the idiot took over. We were finally leaving the sting of COVID behind. Our economy was THRIVING. America was an epicenter, humming with activity, with clean air, roads, and bridges being fixed. It was like gulping down a delicious chocolate shake—deep, rich, warmly satisfying, and plenty of room for more where that came from.
Since Trump took office, ALL our progress has been left in limbo. And this fact angers me—no, it enrages me. I am not alone. “Survey shows Consumer Confidence at 45-year low.” THANK you, Donald Trump! You HAVE accomplished one thing. You’ve plunged the American people into emotional turmoil.
CNN says: “Americans are rarely this pessimistic about the economy. Consumer sentiment plunged 11% this month. April’s reading was lower than anything seen during the great recession.” This is what Trump has done to America. He kissed her — gave her a POISONIOUS kiss, and as a result, optimism jumped off a f’in CLIFF.
Of course, you can see WHY: Doge, mass firings, tariff wars, economic malaise, and inflation with grocery costs skyrocketing. If YOU answered such a survey, I’m sure your grade for the new administration would be an F as well.
That’s not all; the negative sentiment is across ALL ages, income levels, educational levels and political affiliations. This is pretty bad news for Republicans. The American people have short memories, but not for something like this. It’s like where once orange blossoms grew, popping with color, so now grows only — dirty and ugly weeds — Donald John Trump’s weeds as he annihilates our progress, pushing the economy downward, off of a cliff.
