MAGA revolts against JD Vance

If one ever wanted to see the inner workings of a cult, all one has to do was look at this latest MAGA kerfuffle. VP elect and recently not seen or heard, JD Vance spoke with Fox non-news over the weekend. In doing so, he made a mistake as far as staying in the cult’s good graces.

Vance said not ALL of the January 6 terrorists (my words) deserved pardons. He said those who engaged in violence could and should be excluded. Now — we ALL know Vance is not saying this because he’s a good man. Vance likely wants to run for President in 2028, so the tricycle wheels in his head are spinning. He doesn’t want to alienate voters in the middle, nor make comments that could come back to haunt him.

Well — the blowback came fast and furious from MAGA, of course. The first essential rule of any cult is NEVER ever disagree. Never disagree; otherwise, you are little more than a dissident.

In the blink of an eye, MAGA turned on him. The vomit-inducing cult was infuriated with some vowing revenge.

“BETRAYAL!” Oh yes, that’s what the cult is saying. When one enters a cult, one must be prepared to give up their sense of self.

Cults are clubs, nightclubs where the same music is played nightly, that music being anthems to the cult leader. All customers look and act identical to each other , and those customers are MAGA. All drinks served are the same, those drinks being verbal hate and poison that this particular cult gulps down by the dozen at any given time.

“We will raise hell!”

That’s a January sixth defendant promising to “raise hell” if Trump does not save ALL the J-6ers.

“J6 defenders and family members are swearing vengeance on JD Vance if all of the J6 defendants are not saved.”

“Vance made a HUGE mistake.”

Let’s break this down together. You see, of course, the fundamental problem that any republican is going to have. When Trump’s term ends, he cannot run again. But nobody else has the hold on these people, as Trump does. When leading a cult, they cannot just substitute ANYONE.

So, the next person who runs as a Republican will have quite a mess on their hands. If they speak out against pardoning violent offenders, they lose MAGA, perhaps forever. If they agree with Trump, they will lose — well — everyone sane, perhaps forever. It’s a vicious cycle of shit spinning around with no relief in sight for Republicans.
