Donald Trump has berserk meltdown after criminal trial sentencing

Donald Trump’s criminal trial sentencing hearing took place today, and he was given no punishment. However the judge stressed that the jury trial verdict still stands, and that Trump is still a convicted felon. It doesn’t do us much good. But at least it’s gotten under Trump’s skin.

Trump posted a lengthy and rather berserk meltdown on social media, which included this bizarre passage: “I was given an UNCONDITIONAL DISCHARGE. That result alone proves that, as all Legal Scholars and Experts have said, THERE IS NO CASE, THERE WAS NEVER A CASE, and this whole Scam fully deserves to be DISMISSED.”

Uh, no. The judge made clear that the discharge was solely a result of Trump now being President-elect and thus exempt from serving any sort of sentence. Yet here Trump is, still angrily whining about it all. If nothing else, Trump is still the most miserable loser in history.
