Trump’s numbers are dropping already

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand what a dark era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. Advertising networks can't be counted on. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight, because someone has to.

In that regard we're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. We've launched a reader supported fund, and we've already raised $3760 and counting. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can contribute here. Thank you in advance.
Sincerely,
Bill Palmer

Donald Trump’s cabinet picks so far have been horrible. I can’t think of even one who has any value or qualifications to do the job they were picked for. What are the odds of that, I ask you? What are the odds that if someone were to go apple picking, every apple chosen would contain deeply rotten pits?

Of course, he shows us his incompetence with these picks. Do you know who else thinks so? The American people. “Trump’s latest confidence ratings show significant decline.” Well, we knew it would happen, did we not? But still so- soon! So very soon. The man’s not even president, yet!

Let’s take a look at the numbers together. AP-NORC Poll. Half of the respondents have no confidence at all in ANY of these picks. What’s interesting is that independents are losing faith in the orange jelly fish. Four in ten have no confidence in him, and only two in 10 independents have a lot of confidence. Even Republicans are voicing that they have doubts, as four in ten republicans say “not at all confident: to “moderately confident.”

It’s hardly a mandate. So what does this mean? I have some thoughts about it. Let’s put it this way?: This is only the beginning. Why? Nothing has happened yet; nobody has been confirmed yet, and yet the numbers look awful.

Now, let’s say some manage to get through. We know they will not be able to do their jobs properly because they can’t. Most of them have no qualifications whatsoever except the ability to jump HIGH when Donald Trump tells them to.

So it stands to reason that if the numbers are bad now, they will only get worse after the confirmation hearings. How much worse? I have no idea, but it’s going to be bad—of that, I am sure.

We did not win the election. I know so many of you are angry. I am, too. When people like us — political animals lose — especially elections with such immense significance — it’s really hard. The colorful tress lose their leaves and become bare stumps. But luckily, new leaves always grow.

Activists ALSO feel more than the average person, which is why they are activists in the first place. So yes — we lost. But we lost the battle, never EVER the war. And you know what? These numbers tell us we’re already seeing a decline in Trump’s overall popularity., And just wait because these numbers are only going to get worse.
