There’s something really off about Donald Trump’s Tulsi Gabbard nomination

We've launched the Palmer Report 2025 Operating Expenses Fund. If we can fully fund this, it'll bridge the gap and ensure that Palmer Report can keep fighting now and forever. I'm asking you to contribute what you can to our GoFundMe Page or our PayPal Page, both of which accept debit and credit cards. Thank you.

Is it true? Could this country have its own Trojan horse? Could a certain ominous gift have been wheeled out and gotten over the fence, where it now waits in plain sight, quietly awaiting its chance to cause chaos and mayhem? According to the Trojan horse’s ex-co-workers — the answer is yes.

Tulsi Gabbard, who will now receive an FBI background check, has been the subject of chatter for years. Is she a Russian asset? Is she dirty? My gosh, the murmuring have reached epic proportions.

“Consume Russian state media.” ABC broke this news, citing several staffers who used to work with Tulsi. According to them, Tulsi reportedly consumed Russian state media and shared articles from an appropriately named outlet, Russia Today.

According to the same sources, people around her told Tulsi that she was sharing stuff from an outlet that had no credibility. That did not reportedly stop her, though.

You know we’ve all been so focused on Gaetz and now Hegseth. But Republicans behind the scenes – some of them – are saying Tulsi might face the roughest path to confirmation.

“Behind closed doors, people think she might be compromised.”

No, this is not an episode of “Homeland,” though it sure feels like one.

According to one Republican aide: “There are members of our conference who think she’s a Russian asset.’

This does not bode well for her. When the American people look at our cabinet, they want to see America gazing back at them. They most certainly do not want to gaze into a mirror and see —the shadow of the Kremlin.

Gabbard’s nomination has started to be discussed more and more negatively. And if some of her former coworkers are coming out against her, that spells even more bad news for the Russia-defending nominee.

Imagine having a Russian asset in our cabinet! Imagine.

Is it true? Could Tulsi’s face launch a thousand Russian state TV celebrations? Could we have among us a wooden gift horse filled with Russian propaganda?

If so, we will find out. But it is utterly fascinating to watch Donald Trump’s nominees implode in real-time. And Tulsi, if any of this is true, could just be the most dangerous one of them all.

It's been a tough week, a tough month, a tough year. For all of us. But the fight goes on. Because we know how important this is. Because we care. Because we're the ones who fight. It's you and me. It has been for a decade. And I'm never backing down. But Palmer Report does have operating expenses. And in this uncertain time, I truly need your help. For that reason I've launched the Palmer Report 2025 Operating Expenses Fund. If we can fully fund this, it'll bridge the gap and ensure that Palmer Report can keep fighting now and forever. I'm asking you to contribute what you can to our GoFundMe Page or our PayPal Page, both of which accept debit and credit cards. Thank you.
