They don’t have a damned clue
I’ve been thinking. I’ve been thinking about perception. Perception plays a huge role in politics. For example, Republicans want the American people to view them as fighters who fight for THEM, and they do everything they can to keep the public from knowing the truth that they fight not for their constituents but for Donald Trump. always for Donald Trump.
A phone ringing in the wee hours of the night. The caller ID says Donald J. Trump is on the line. Republicans rush to pick up the receiver. A strident voice, the voice of the damned, damned to commit crimes, orders the GOP to him, and the GOP asks, “How high, would you like me to jump, sir?”
Don’t take my word for it. Rep Troy Nehls of Tennessee, in an MSNBC appearance, actually came out and said so—that if Trump asks them to jump “three feet high and scratch your head, we all jump three feet high and scratch our heads.”
How sad and how pathetic. But you see, it is their dirty little secret. It is the secret to understanding just what and who the GOP is. They are Donald Trump’s jumpers, living in eternal servitude, moving mountains to please their lecherous dictator. Now I ask you — what makes a man?
The GOP is all about being men. It’s all they talk about. They breath manliness in and out, in and out, pretending said manliness is THEM.
The whole GOP caucus is like a Gym locker, a stinking dressing room where Republicans go to put on their fake capes of manliness. It’s a smelly and stale locker room filled with too much fake testosterone and too many he-man jokes, a sweaty man-cave where the spineless congregate together, as loud, raucous Republican voices are heard bragging about their imagined manhood.
In reality, these people are a laughing stocks, as Real Men, BEING real men, don’t spend every day sweating bullets wondering if Donald Trump will approve of what they say, how they say it, and who they say it to.
Real men, when ordered by an impervious traitor to jump, quietly answer back “F you” if they answer at all.
So Republicans really should knock it off with this: “real man” stuff because these dunderheads do not have the slightest CLUE about what makes a man. By the way they’re acting, this writer doubts they ever will.
